It's Launch Day!

April 27, 2021

We're excited to announce that the first two wines from Gorsley Vineyard are now available for sale. We have a delicious 2019 English Sparkling Wine made in the classic method, and a light summer rosé from 2020. These are now available to buy by the case (6 bottles) on our Shop page.

Today we are also launching the Gorsley Vineyard Wine Club! Join a group of our loyal customers and subscribe to a recurring annual membership which includes a case of 6 bottles of Sparkling Wine per year, 15% discount on all wine purchases, an invitation to join our Harvest, a free vineyard tour and tasting and more. Find out more on our Wine Club page.

Bumper 2020 Harvest

09 Nov 2020

We were delighted to complete a successful harvest on 6th October. After a spell of unsettled weather we found a lovely day to pick just over 2.6 tonnes, twice the 2019 volume.

The grapes were pressed that evening at Defined Wine and will be used to produce a further batch of sparkling wine as well as some still rose to be released in Spring 2021.

Vinnie the Alpaca

August 2020

You may have noticed a friendly face starting to appear on our branding recently.

We’d like to introduce you to Vinnie the Alpaca, the face of Gorsley Vineyard!

Vinnie and his pals used to live on the vineyard site all year round, and we still welcome them back over winter.

They help us keep the grass under control and add some natural fertiliser to our vines.

We think he's pretty cute....

Our first vintage has been bottled!

May 2020

We are very excited to say that our first Sparkling Wine vintage has been bottled by our friends at Defined Wine.

We have about 1,200 bottles from the 2019 harvest, which now need to mature on their lees for at least 9 months.

This means it should be ready for the first tasting by Spring 2021. Watch this space!
